In April 2024, Robbie's proactive health measures led to the discovery of Stage 1 DCIS in both breasts. On July 11, she made the courageous decision to undergo a double mastectomy, a step that thankfully prevented the cancer from spreading. While facing hormone therapy and multiple reconstruction surgeries, Robbie has remained hopeful, calling herself a cancer "thriver" rather than a survivor. Her journey reflects her belief that cancer does not define a person but offers an opportunity to grow, thrive, and embrace inner strength.

Robbie Mullin is a woman of inspiring creativity, compassion, and strength. As a beloved drama teacher, encouraging acting coach, and talented director and actress, she has impacted many lives throughout her career. After working in the theater and television industries in New York City and Los Angeles, Robbie moved back to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, in 2014 to raise her family with her husband, Peter. Her greatest sources of strength and joy are her husband and two children, Emma and Jacob, as she continues to create meaningful opportunities within her community.
